The mixing stage has always been one of the most important stages in any type of musical production. Today, more than ever, the mixing stage has become one of the most essential components for the success of the recording. This is due to the tendency in the world market to transfer the recording process' center of gravity to semi-professional home studios.

 |
This tendency has a lot of advantages for the musician, but from this point on requires the incorporation of professionals in the field, and sophisticated equipment in the finishing stage (the mix) in order to obtain a professional result.
At Pausa Recording Studios we specialize in producing mixes for professional and home projects.
During the remix stage we incorporate the advantages of working on the computer (the digital), with the advantages of the analog equipment (the non-digital). The process uses the abilities of the computer automation but the summary is conducted using analog equipment, which enables each exit to utilize its ultimate headroom. We have a NEVE analog Summing Mixer, which connects to the exits of your mixes. Each group connects to a separate entrance divided by the NEVE-8816 and receives separate treatment. The final summary of the mix is analog, and works through transformers that are produced by NEVE. In addition to this, there are options to insert analog equipment (Compressor, EQ) on the complete mix, a possibility to expand or reduce the picture of the stereo, transfer the mix through an MS matrix and more. The final download of the mix can be conducted back through the computer mastering program, or in exchange of each track that you choose (strings, DAT…). After this thorough treatment, the final result sounds like they've never sounded before.
With many years of experience on local and international remixing projects, we ensure a result that will take your project several steps beyond what you anticipated.
