Here, at Kinneret Courtyard, a new society was established and revolutionary ideas were born – ideas focused on settlement and community institutions that became the cornerstone of the State of Israel’s character upon its founding. These ideas were not merely theoretical; they became a tangible reality that impacted the lives of thousands.

It all began with real people—individuals driven by profound thoughts, deep emotions, grand aspirations, and the grit of daily struggles. Their spirit, fueled by a steadfast belief in the process and the vision, still resonates in every corner of the courtyard. Among the pioneers who built and labored at the Kinneret Courtyard were legendary figures such as Berl Katznelson, A.D. Gordon, Ben-Zion Israeli, and Hanna Meisel—founder of the Maidens’ Farm—as well as Rachel the Poetess. Each left a singular mark, serving as an enduring source of inspiration for generations to come.

 

 

 

This special presentation invites visitors to meet these figures, feel the passion and commitment that drove them, and connect with their moving historical story.

The presentation takes place in the legendary Barn Hall, which hosted many activities over the years. It features a multi-screen projection that brings the story to life in a spectacular way, along with experiential lighting and special effects that help create a unique and fascinating experience. The presentation takes visitors on a journey through time, exposing them to critical decision-making moments in the courtyard’s history, and offering them the chance to experience the vision and excitement that moved the pioneers.
